“I love my job at Bird Forestry,” was Carole Cunningham’s unsolicited statement as we were gathering information for her feature this week.

Carole is the administrative assistant in the Bird Forestry Shreveport office. She will be celebrating 20 years in the forestry profession this October. Prior to that, she was a pediatric medical office manager for 25 years.

“Carole is a true asset to our team at Bird Forestry,” said Forestry Operations Manager, Mark Bird. “She has a willingness to do any task that you place in front of her with zeal.  I have never met anyone who appreciates their job and workday as much as Carole.”

The Houston, Texas, native and her husband of 32 years, Larry, reside in Elm Grove just south of Shreveport where they have lived for 21 years. They are the parents of two grown daughters and enjoy spending time with family which also includes two grandsons and five granddaughters.
