Josh McDorman named Vice President of Environmental Programs at Advanced Ecology, Ltd.

Josh McDorman has been named the new Vice President of Environmental Programs at Advanced Ecology, Ltd., the parent company of Bird Forestry.

Meet Josh McDorman, the new Vice President of Environmental Programs at Advanced Ecology, Ltd.

“We are excited about Josh joining the Advanced Ecology team,” said Advanced Ecology President, Mike D. Bird. “He will be an asset to our team of professionals who possess unique backgrounds and skill sets enhancing Advanced Ecology’s ability to solve and manage any variety of environmental issues.”

Josh is a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the process of relocating soon to Nacogdoches with his wife, Haylee, and their children: daughters Maycee, and Avire, and their son Ridge.

The “Oklahoma native, born and raised” as Josh terms himself, was previously with Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. as Capital Projects Senior Environmental Project Manager in the field of oil, gas, and pipelines.

Josh is a graduate of Owasso (Oklahoma) High School where he was a member of the wrestling team. After earning a Bachelor of Science in environmental science from Northeastern State Oklahoma in Tahlequah, he added a Master of Science degree in environmental science from Oklahoma State University.

When asked about his favorite past time activity when not working, he replied, “Playing with my kids.”
