TFA Free EventTFA Free Event – State forestry associations, including the Texas Forestry Association (TFA) and the Louisiana Forestry Association (LFA), offer informative seminars and workshops throughout the year for forestland landowners.

One upcoming event is TFA’s Sustainable Forest Initiative sponsored landowner workshop in Carthage for Harrison, Gregg and Panola Counties. The event is free, but registration is required. Register online here.

“Sustaining Balance through Focused Management and Technology” is set for Friday, April 20, at Expo Hall, 2 Ball Park Road in Carthage. Registration deadline is Monday, April 16.

The event will feature three sessions during the day: Sustainable Forests and Woodlands; Wildlife and Water; and Technology, Tools, and Assistance. You may attend all sessions or any combination of sessions. Lunch will be provided courtesy of Louisiana – Pacific Corporation. The information is also available via mail if you cannot attend any of the sessions.
