Advanced Ecology Team Members Win Top Trophies

Advanced Ecology – Two members of the Advanced Ecology, Ltd. family who pursue activities with antique and classic cars in their spare time were winners last weekend at the Shelby County Cruisers car club “Spring Fling” Car Show in Center, Texas.

MSUSA President Terry McKenzie’s (shown left) 1949 Dodge pickup captured first place honors in the show’s “Rat Rod” category, and AEL Marketing Director Leon Aldridge’s (shown right) 1955 Ford Crown Victoria placed second in the “1950 – 1963 Cars” Division.

The car show drew 51 entries from East Texas and Western Louisiana. The Shelby County Cruisers is a family oriented car club celebrating antique and specialty cars and the historical eras they represent. They also give back to the community, and all proceeds from the show go to support the club’s civic work including scholarships to graduating seniors at the county’s five high schools as well as contributing to local veteran’s organizations and Christmas gifts for a local foster care agency. Aldridge is the current president of the Shelby County Cruisers with a membership of 63 families.
